Please hurry !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Explain how thermal energy affects particle movement.

Thermal energy is heat added. When heat is added to cold, stiff particles, the particles speed up and scatter everywhere. Depending on how much heat is added, depends on how fast the particles go. The colder the temperature is, the more slower the particles move.
