Bananas cost $3 a bunch and apples cost $0.50 each. If b represents the number of bunches of bananas and a represents the number of apples, which of the following expressions represents the total cost?

3a+.50b=c. C stands for cost. Since each apple is 3 dollars, you do 3 times however many apples there are and same for bananas. There can't be a specific ANSWER because it doesn't tell us how many apples of bananas there are, and it says to choose the expression. If 3a+.50b=c is not there, it's probably 3a+.50b, but they are the same thing.
