Paul says that in the number 6367 one 6 is 10 times as great as the other 6. is correct ? explain why or why not.

Paul is not correct. A good understanding of place value is important to solve this problem. From the left, you look at the ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands for place value. In the number 6367, one 6 is in the tens column and the other 6 is in the thousands column. This means that one six is 100 times as great as the other 6. If it was 10 times as great, it would be in the hundreds column.
