Cumberland Island is the answer. There are very few ways to actually reach this island, so it has led to less erosion and less traffic on the island. The only way to reach Cumberland is to take a ferry, which has slowed damage to the island, in addition to conservation efforts proper being actively undertaken by interested parties and groups.
