Answer:

K=54 and J=36

Explanation:

If K+J=90 and J=18-K then we can solve it with a Linear System of Equations

K+J=90

-K+J=-18

-------------

2J=72

J=36

Plug it back into the first equation: K+36=90 K=90-36 K=54

Notice the difference between K and J is still 18, since K - J =54-36=18.
