Describe one difference and one similarity between early colonial virginia and maryland

One similarity in the two colonies is that they were both large tobacco producing areas. Both heavily relied on the plant for a source of income and exports. One of the big differences was religious-based. Virginia was heavily-populated by Anglicans while Maryland was started as a Catholic refuge colony.
