Exchange theory is a model in sociology for interpreting a society as a series of interactions between people, based on estimates of rewards and punishments. Profits = Rewards - Costs. Janet as a mentor is in the hierarchy over her student Bradley, so this exchange is not reciprocal, nor direct. Answer:
