Campylobacter jejuni bacteria is sporadic pathogen which seems not affect many people but is linked to the consumption of undercooked meats from beef, to poultry and unpasteurized dairy products. Cross contamination within the kitchen can also occur when cooking equipment is not properly cleaned. Transmission between humans, dogs and cats has also been reported.
