S: Situation give provider BP, pulse, respiration, temperture B: Background- mental status is good, skin is warm and dry and not on oxygen A: Assessment- I think the problem is possibly Kawasaki Disease. It may still be a bacteria infection spreading, or a virus. However, those odds are unlikely. R: Recommendation- I suggest the following: Start Immunoglobulin and aspirin treatments. Transthoracic echocardiography to determine if there are any cornary aneurisms. Blood work required CBC, C-Reactive Protein, Erythrocyte sedimentation rate. The CBC will rule out infections. Please come see patient.
