Answer: 4.8

Explanation:

ABCD~EFGH

EF/AB=FG/BC=GH/CD=EH/AD=0.4

BC = 12

FG/BC=0.4

FG/12=0.4

FG=0.4*12=4.8

FG=GF=4.8

Hope this helps, have a BLESSED and wonderful day! :-)

Because quadrilaterals EFGH and ABCD are similar and have a scale factor of 0.4, therefore

(EF)/(AB) = (FG)/(BC) = (GH)/(CD) = (EH)/(AD) =0.4

Because BC = 12, therefore

(FG)/(BC) =0.4 \\ (FG)/(12) =0.4 \\ FG = 0.4 * 12 = 4.8

FG = GF = 4.8

Answer: A. 4.8
