If there's 2723 total kids in the school, 1167 of them are girls. Because 2723 divided by 7 is 389. So, basically all of the students are in 7 groups, with each group having 389 students. Now, we know that 4 out of those 7 groups are boys. So 389 multiplied by 4 is 1556. That is the total number of boys, and the remaining number is the number of girls. Then, you just subtract 1556 from 2723 and get 1167. That's the amount of girls.
