What are like terms? how do you combine them? can you give an example?

Like terms are terms that are the exact same excluding coefficients.

To combine like terms, add or subtract the coefficients.

Here are a few examples.
-3x^2+ 2x^2= -x^2

14xyz-12xyz=2xyz

12p-3p+8p= 17p
