We are given

(a, b) ---------------> (a, −b)​

we can see that

x-values of both points are 'a'

which is same

while y-value of first =b

y-value of second =-b

so, y becomes as -y

and we know that

when a function is reflected about x-axis

then y becomes -y

so, option-C.................Answer
