Native Americans were introduced to animals that would be of use later on.
example: Horses. Riding on horses in battle or just finding a place to settle would have been much easier than walking. So, the were helpful in battle and they were helpful to nomads.

natives were able to use the animals from the columbian exchange to help them in many ways.
Some examples of these were: horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs.

horses: helped Indians move from place to place faster
cattle: helped Indians in farming, gave them beef (meat)
sheep: gave Indians wool, gave them lamb (meat)
Goats: Milk, meat,
Pigs: Pork

hope this helps
