The correct answer is - C. Temperate.

Most of the North American continent is dominated by variations of the temperate climate. This type of climate is mostly occupying the interior of the continent. It is a climate type that has four seasons, relatively warm summers, snowy cold winters, and rainy springs and autumns. Even though this is most dominant climate in North America it doesn't mean that it is the only one, in fact there's few other climate types like the tropical wet in the southeast, mediterranean in California, polar in the far north etc...
