then EF is pependicular to DE
and FG is paralell to DE

paralell lines have a slope that are the same
perpendicular lines have slopes that multiplies to -1

so

DE has a slope of 3/2
FG is paralell so the slope is 3/2
EF is perpendicular so has a slope of -2/3
