The discounted price is going to be 60% of the original price because 100 - 40 = 60. So we want to find 60% of the original price, or 65. 65 x .6 = 39, so
the pair of rollerskates will be $39 at the discounted price.

The price is 36 because 40% of 65 is 29 and 65-29 equals 36.
