Francis scott key fitzgerald was born natural in st. paul minnesota on September 24, 1896. He was named afterwards a well-known ancestor francis scott key which is the lawyer and writer who hold in the lyrics to ‘the star spangled banner’ throughout the warfare of 1812. The two were only indistinctly connected as key was a second cousin three times uninvolved but fitzgerald was recognized to play up the family connection. While driving previous a statue of key in an alcoholic mist in 1934 when he apparently jumped from the car and veiled in the bushes screaming to a friend don’t let frank see me drunk.
