30% divided by 100 equals 0.3

20% divided by 100 equals 0.2

When you multiply 0.3 times 0.2 you get 0.6 but its not done yet.

below the 0.6 will be 00.0

add 0.6+00.0 you will get 00.6

After, move the zero next to the decimal point one step to the right you will get 0.06

Then multiply 0.06 times 100 and you will get 6 and you answer will be 6%.

(30/100)*(20/100) = 0.06 = 6% The percentages need to be multiplied for the 'and' probability formula.
