Could -2be used as a base to rewrite 32? 64? why or why not

32. No because (-2)^5= -32. The exponent is odd so the negative sign does not cancel out.

64. Yes because (-2)^6=64. The exponent is positive so the negative sign in -2 is cancelled out through multiplication.
