9m + 4 (12 -m)
= 9m + 48 - 4m
= 5m + 48

Well the 4 would have to be distributed into the 12 and m so you would have 9m+48-4m.
Then you would have to take 9m and subtract 4m from it so it would be 5m+48 and that would be your answer!!!
