y=3x – 7
slope = 3

To solve this, we must understand Slope Intercept Form, or the form that is y=mx+b where "m" is the slope and "b" is the y intercept. Seeing as "m" is the slope, then we know that the slope of y=3x-7 is 3/1 or simply 3.
