Factor the expression w^2-14w+24

Find two numbers that add to -14 and multiplies to 24.

After playing around with some numbers, I found the combination.

-8 and -6

So, the answer is (w - 8)(w - 6).

w^2-14w+24 = (w - 12)(w - 2)
