Given the box plot shown in the exercise, you can observe that:


Median=350

The Median is represented by the line located inside the box.

You can identify that the Lower Quartile is:


Q_1=300

And the Upper Quartile is:


Q_3=450

Because the end of the left whisker is located on the value 300 and the end of the right whisker is located on the value 450.

Notice that the highest point on the right is located at 500 and the lower point on the left is located at 225 (approximately). The Difference between these values is:


500-225=275

The Median tells you the typical price of a bicycle (in dollars).

Hence, the answer is: Third option.
