So the area of the Trapezoid is: A= a+b/2 h

A= 10+12/2 (16)

Add 10+12 then dived by 2
10+12=22/2=11

Now you have:
A= 11 (16)

Multiply now :
11*16=176

A=176

So the area of the Trapezoid would be 176.
Hope this helped you :)

Answer:

\text{The area of trapezoid is }176 cm^2

Explanation:

Given the trapezoid in which length of parallel sides are 10 cm and 12 cm and height is 16 cm.

we have to find the area of trapezoid.

Area of trapezoid can be calculated by the formula

=(1)/(2)* (\text{sum of parallel sides})* height

=(1)/(2)* (10+12)* 16

=(1)/(2)* 22* 16

=176 cm^2

\text{The area of trapezoid is }176 cm^2

Option 1 is correct.
