Just as with any other field of study, chemistry is also exploited in negative ways. Chemicals are synthesized and chemical processes are carried out in order to produce substances with the ability to harm or destroy life. Examples of such uses are:
1) Poison
2) Chemical warfare
3) Illegal drug synthesis
4) Explosives
Although some of the listed processes may be used for beneficial purposes, they still are misused.
