Given the recursive formula:

a_n=(2+a_(n-1))/(2)

and that the first term (that is a1=10) we have:

\begin{gathered} a_2=(2+10)/(2)=(12)/(2)=6 \\ a_3=(2+6)/(2)=(8)/(2)=4_{} \end{gathered}

Therefore the third term is 4
