Literature and the setting that the writer is currently situated in are intricately connected - obviously the location of the writer will influence literature as well. Sometimes, the way people speak in a certain area of the world will affect the type of speech found in literature as well; sometimes, writers such as Joyce, for example, will write only about particular locations (in his case, Dublin). Every country has its own literature that can be distinguished from all others, because no nation is the same.
