10(x/5-4)=34+4x

I simplify the equation to the form, Which is simple to understand
10(x/5-4=34+4x

Simplifying:
10*( + 0.2x-4)=34+4x

Reordering the term in Parentheses:
+(+2x-40)=34+4x

Remove unnecessary parentheses:
+2x-4x=34+4x

We move all terms terms containing X to the Left and all other terms to the Right:
+2x-4x+30+40

We simplify left and right side of the equation:
-2x=+74

We divide both sides of the equation by -2 to get X:
X=-37
