the awnser is D: He is a mighty opponent. It is this because it is using the plural for people. possessive pronoun's use possessive language to express what their saying. exp: yours, his, mine, people's.

The possessive pronoun is 'Its'. A possessive pronoun is a pronoun which shows possession. Other possessive pronouns include: my, mine, ours, its, his, her, hers, theirs, your and yours.
