The length of the arc can be calculated using the following rule:

length of arc = fraction of the circumference that the arc occupies x 2 x pi x r

The angle of the major arc = 360 - 30 = 330 degrees

Substitute in the above equation:
length of major arc = (330 / 360) x 2 x pi x radius = 5.759 x radius unit length
