Why avoid soda in an optimal meal plan?

An optimal meal plan would include lean meats, lots of protein, low carbs, no sugar and sodium. soda contains all the ingredients you need to stay away from in order to be healthy, soda is carbonated which causes bloating.

You're depriving yourself of essential nutrients, you're more likely to develop diabetes, weight gain, too much sugar, contains phosphoric acid, can lead to dehydration, contains artificial sweeteners, contains absolutely no nutrients.
