Green peppers are on sale for $2.89 per pound. Mrs. Moseley bought 1.75 pounds of peppers. Is it more reasonable to say that she spent between $5 and $6 or between $6 and $7 on the peppers? Explain your reasoning

If Mrs. Moseley bought 1.75 pounds of green peppers for $2.89 per pound then she spent:
1.75 * 2.89 = $5.05
And: $5.05 is more than $5 and less than$6.
$5 < $5.05 < $6
Answer:
It is more reasonable to say that she spent between $5 and $6 on the peppers.
