Lemme solve this
3/8 of her total ribbon was used. 3/8= 6 feet
6 divided by 3 equals 2.
2= 1/8
Let us find how much she had first
2 x 8 = 16
She had 8/8 of the ribbon, or 16 feet, when she first had it
