There are given that the equilateral triangle

Now,

From the formula to find the altitude :


h=\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{2}a

Then,

Put the value of a = 8 into the above formula

So,


\begin{gathered} h=\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{2}a \\ h=\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{2}*8 \\ h=4\sqrt[]{3} \end{gathered}

Hence, the altitude of the given equilateral triangle is shown below:


4\sqrt[]{3}
