A persuasive message is present when for instance an individual tries to convince another individual or group to pursue certain actions. In the workplace, there are two types of persuasive messages. These are the sales and marketing. These are utilized to obtain the organizational objectives. The first task which is to analyze the situation means that the person who wants to convince must know first who the target audience are and must know their needs based on the demographics like age, gender, occupation, income, education, etc. To achieve the objective of changing the attitudes, beliefs or actions of other people, one must first know how to understand their motivation, which is the combination of forces that drive people to satisfy their needs.
