The author point of view about the people who learned to decipher Enigma was that they played a very significant role in helping the Allied Forces to shorten the war.

When they received a message, the Enigma machine ciphered it and transmitted it to Morse code. Finally, the message would be deciphered by another Enigma machine with the same settings, which would help to transcribed in plaintext. By deciphering the messages containing information about future attacks, this group of people were essential to help shorten the war.
