Circle equation is given in the form of (x-a)²+(y-b)² = r²

Where (a, b) is the centre and 'r' is the radius

We have a circle with centre (0, 0) and radius of 5.

Substituting these value into the equation form, we have

(x-0)²+(y-0)² = 5²
x² + y² = 25

Hence, the equation of the circle is x² + y² = 25

Answer:

Explanation:

I graphed the circle. Starting from (0.0) using the radius of 5. Then, I plotted all 4 points; the only one on the graph was (3,4).

When checking my answer, I saw that many people applied the Pythagorean theorem.

or 3 squared + 4 squared= 5 squared

9+16=25
