Then came all the people of Pastolik, (for this was the plan), with their war-spears, and arrows, and some few guns.

Which of the following offers a paraphrase of this sentence?

The people of Pastolik brought many guns and spears to Romanoff Mountain.

The people of Pastolik showed up with guns and spears as planned.

The people of Pastolik were prohibited from showing up with guns and spears.

The people of Pastolik were shot with their own guns on Romanoff Mountain

PLEASE HELP!!!

A paraphrased sentence always has to keep the meaning of the previous one, and sometimes it can be more precise and concise, as if it was meant to sum up the first sentence. According to these characteristics, the most suitable sentence is: The people of Pastorik showed up with guns and spears as planned. This is the only sentence which mentions the plan, and if it was included then it can not be omitted.
