The correct answer is option (c) i.e. Energy will be converted into another form.

During a chemical reaction, energy remains unchanged, It just gets converted into another form and doesn’t increases or decreases. Excess energy is released in the form of heat, light during a chemical reaction and thus, proving the law of conservation of energy which says, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It just gets converted from one form to another form.
