The next term in the sequence is 6, as each term is reduced by 7 each time. =)

The pattern here is to subtract 7 from each number, or x-7=y. With this in mind, we can simply subtract 7 from 13 to get our answer. 13-7=6, which means the next term in this sequence is
6
