When a client is able to differentiate between a realistic self-image and grandiosity, it means that a male client with bipolar disorder, manic phase, is nearing readiness for discharge.

Because a client in manic phase typically experiences a high regard for self or inflated self-image, seen as grandiosity. Bipolar disorder also called as manic depression, related to disorder of mood swings.
