Help me please!

The bottom of a 25√5 foot ladder is 25 feet from the base of a house, and the top of the ladder is leaning against the house. Find the height from the base of the house to the top of the ladder.

Refer to the diagram shown below.

h = the height of the house.

Apply the Pythagorean theorem to obtain
h² + 25² = (25√5)²
h² + 625 = 3125
h² = 3125 - 625 = 2500
h = √(2500) = 50 ft

Answer: The height is 50 ft.
