Answer: Several sciences changed their approach to study and observe the world.

Explanation:

The 16th century comprehends the period of time betwwen the years of 1501 to 1600. At that time there were important developments in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and astronomy. Scientific method is considered to have started with the so called "scientific revolution" which began with Nicolaus Copernicus's theories in 1543. The influence was that institutions started to support scientific investigation. Natural and artificial circumstances were set apart and instead a research tradition of systematic experimentation was adopted by the scientific community, which used inductive approach, based on observations and disregarding assumptions.
