To find the slope of this line, we must use the slope formula!

The slope formula is:

m = y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

So, m stands for our slope. y2 and y1 stand for two y coordinates we choose, and x2 and x1 stand for two x coordinates we choose.

So, let's plug some numbers into the formula -

I'll use coordinates (1, 3) and (2, 6).

m = 6 - 3 / 2 - 1.

m = 3 / 1

When solved, the slope is equal to three! =)
