The current use of fossil fuels versus the need to develop new renewable energy sources is an example of : how short term needs are in opposition to long term sustainability
Currently, fossil fuels are still the cheapest source of energy. But, in order to ued it, we need to face several negative impacts, such as environmental deterioration, Global warming, and Resource scarcity.
To face this, we need to start to develop a new source of energy for the future (such as solar based energy)
