The figure shows the stretched graph of
\sqrt[3]{x}.

Though in both + and - directions the graph proceeds very slowly, it rises infinitely, towards the +x direction, and decreases infinitely towards the -x direction.

Thus, the function takes all values fro - infinity to + infinity.

Answer: y is a real number
