If I'm not mistaken, the Quarter Act of 1774 required colonist to provide provisions and housing to British soldiers stationed in the 13 colonies.
Hope this helps.

Answer: Required the colonies to feed and house British troops.

Step-by-step explanation:

Grenville completed his new system of colonial regulations when he persuaded Parliament to pass the Quartering Act. In effect, it was yet another tax. The Quartering Act required the colonies to feed and house British troops. It applied to all colonies but affected mainly New York City, the headquarters of the British forces. Some colonists decided that the Quartering Act was an effort to use British soldiers to tyrannize the Americans.
