Mesopotamian patriarchy run politics, culture and economic conditions of their civilization. It became part of the Mesopotamian civilization. They have arranged marriages that are based on property and the man has full authority of the family.

Egyptian civilization gave importance to the role of women, which are evident in the reign of the queens. The man works hard for his wife. Patriarchs also consider the role of women in agriculture.
