Since "the rectangular shed is 2 meters wide and 32 meters long"
this means

area of rectangular shed = (length)*(width)
area of rectangular shed = (32)*(2)
area of rectangular shed = 64 square meters

The square shed will have the same area as the rectangular shed

area of square shed = (side)*(side)
64 = (x)*(x)
64 = x^2
x^2 = 64
sqrt(x^2) = sqrt(64) ... apply the square root to both sides
x = 8

---------------------------------

Answer: Each side of the square shed is 8 meters.
